Insurance - New Guidelines 2024

• At Family Dental Care of Honeoye, we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality dental care. 

Unfortunately, the insurance companies do not share this noble value with us the providers. 

• We offer fair fees for our services. 
• Payment options include "Care Credit " as well as Cash / Check / as well as most Credit Cards.
• We are currently " in network" with -Excellus BC/BS, MetLife and Delta Dental commercial plans. 

All other commercial dental insurance will be offered " out of network provider " service by our office - Full payment will be collected before each visit, at the end of your appointment we will be happy to submit your insurance claim for you. You will then be reimbursed directly according to your specific policy with them. 

• We are not able to see new patients with any of the NYS Medicaid dental plans. This includes - UHC, Fidelis (DentaQuest), Healthplex, Essential plan or any other NYS supported dental program. 

• Existing patients at our office that carry the above insurance plans will be able to continue their care at Family Dental Care of Honeoye as long as their last visit was no longer than 2 years ago. 

• New Lab related services will not be provided for patients with the previously mentioned insurance due to their raising costs - Including Dentures, Partials, Crown and Bridge work or Dental Implants. 

• We offer fair self-pay fees for Lab services provided by RTG lab in Rochester. 

• Payment options include "Care Credit " as well as Cash / Check /HSA as well as most Credit cards.
